This particular knife is called " Corsican Vendetta " and it is the faithful reproduction of a typical ancient offense knife widespread in the territories of Corsica since this island belonged to the Republic of Genoa. Precisely for this reason, what characterizes this article is the similarity with Genoese and Piedmontese models such as the design of the long and tapered blade and the locking mechanism of the spring that recalls that of French knives, an element that is linked to the influence of this people on the 'island. The blade is made of steel and is 11 cm long while the handle is in ox horn and has a metal structure that also allows a safe and firm grip. The structure of the handle also includes a small "index stop" step which prevents the hand from sliding towards the blade during the offensive action. Thanks to the use of traditional techniques, quality materials and craftsmanship made in Italy by expert masters in the sector, the final product represents a real piece of history that evokes the culture of that time thanks to the unique design and attention to detail.
