Handcrafted Ancona knife with simple spring steel blade Made in Italy.

This line of regional knives is part of the ancient tradition and each item is handcrafted by master cutlers who are experts in the sector who respect traditional techniques, thus managing to bring the uses and customs of a place back to life. These types of knives are typical of different capitals and areas of the Italian peninsula and, thanks to the love for tradition, they bring back to life the culture and habits of the past, thus managing to tell a piece of history.

This knife is a faithful reproduction of the Anconetano knife,   type of regional knife in use since the mid-19th century on the shores of the central Adriatic coast as it represented the fisherman's faithful tool.
What characterizes this product is the unique spring mechanism of its kind as it consists of a flat spring that is screwed onto the back of the handle, very reminiscent of the ratchet spring but with an opening system equal to that of the simple spring knife. The blade is made of MA5M steel while the full-tip handle is made of horn and has a small "step" on the initial end that was used to reel in fishing nets.
Handcrafted in Italy with quality materials, the final product allows you to tell a story by bringing to mind the uses and customs of the past and at the same time handing down the culture of the past thanks to the attention to detail, respect for tradition and passion. of the master cutlers.
