The tables in the Fossil Stone collection are unique in that they are made of real fossil stone . This precious material is the result of the natural processes that occurred in the eras and millennia following the creation of the earth.
The fossil stone is cut by hand, in the shape of small tiles, by skilled craftsmen who subsequently apply them one at a time, as if composing a mosaic on a marine plywood structure or on a fiberglass mould.
The great multitude of tones and colors of the stone, combined with the millenary petrification of the organic, animal or plant remains, and the design of the bases, created by talented Italian architects and designers, form a whole that it is not risky to define as a work of art.
