This knife is a faithful reproduction of the " Maremma leaf " knife , a type of pocket knife originating in the Tuscan area called "Maremma" from which it takes its name and is found in some judicial documents with the engraving of the craftsman's mark. produced them. A specimen is still preserved today in the State Archives of Florence and is linked to a criminal act dating back to 1871.
Made starting from the second half of the 19th century, this knife is characterized by the particular shape of the blade called " leaf " made of MA5M steel while the handle is full-pointed in horn or olive wood and has two grooves on both sides sides that allow you to make the grip firmer and more comfortable. The blade closing system is a simple spring which makes this weapon safe and reliable.
