Totally new when she places her feet on the ground, Penelope plays with the antique at the same time. It is inspired by classical statues, an ornament of villas and gardens, but dilutes their shapes in a stylization that reminds of both the Jacobean and the Etruscan. Anthropomorphic, but oversized (over two meters high), calm and ironic, linear but surprising, it is actually a concentration of references and suggestions. It is inspired by the classical world, but it boasts decidedly cutting-edge design, technologies and functional features. The new Penelope lamp by Myyour is made to amaze: for its size (it is 2.10 m high); for the design (strongly anthropomorphic, it reproduces and stylizes a slender figure of a woman); for the functional properties (uniformly illuminated over the entire surface, it represents an undoubtedly important point of light). The stylistic inspiration obviously comes from classical statues, ornament of villas and gardens of antiquity, but it is realized through a reinterpretation that looks with a keen eye on modern and more remote art (you can glimpse echoes of Jacobean and Etruscan art ).
