Rectangular table Venezia, made of Venice briccola wood and glass, modern design.
Venezia is a unique and extraordinary table, which encloses the history of Venice. Venezia is made from Briccola wood: "Briccole" are the posts standing in the lagoon of the city of Venice from immemorial time, that guide boats and alert. The table top is made of two layers of glass (10+10 mm). Between one layer and another, you will find a thin layer of aged briccola wood. The legs are made from curved glass.
This table is 100% made in Italy.

Please note that Venezia is made from aged Briccola wood, therefore each table is a one-of-a-kind and unique piece and may differ from the one shown in the pictures.

Tables with glass and crystal tops:
Why should you choose between a table with a glass or one with a crystal top? Tempered glass and crystal are sturdy and resistant materials and are ideal for big tables. In order to turn into tempered glass, this material undergoes a thermal treatment, which make it stronger. Glass is being heated at high temperatures and cooled at very low temperatures.
The main difference between crystal and glass is the presence of lead oxide, which makes crystal far more interesting than glass. Lead increases the density of the glass. In this way, glass becomes close to diamonds and has the same optical features: the light that hits its surface is refracted in a stronger and a more decisive way, making it extremely bright. This effect will be stronger according to the percentage of lead oxide contained in the glass: only glass products containing at least 24% of lead oxide can be considered crystal or lead glass, according to the law.
This material is suitable for the production of round tables having a diameter of 120 cm, 160 cm or 180 cm, or custom-made ones. They are also suitable for rectangular tables with a length of 120, 140 cm, 160 cm, 200 cm or custom-made ones.

Advantages of glass and crystal:
Classy design
Endless colour possibilities
Heavy, resistant
It supports heavy loads
Durable
Easy to clean
Eco-friendly

How to clean glass and crystal tops:
Any crystal or glass surface must be cleaned with a wet cloth soaked with soap or liquid detergent, diluted in water. Do not clean with acetone, ammonia – based detergents, which may damage the surface. Do not use abrasive substances to clean it, like powder detergents, abrasive paste, or cleaning supplies with rough surfaces. Do not put in contact with sharp objects. Dry the surface with newspapers.
