Roaster: hand hammered
Lid: hand hammered

The choice of materials is the first important starting point: a diligent selection is made to choose only materials of excellent quality.
So the copper used is pure copper, with the right physical qualities for perfect modeling. The brass for the handles comes from individual first choice ingots for artisanal casting and the tin used is 100% pure virgin suitable for food use, in compliance with the regulations and with a certificate of analysis.

The copper cookware is entirely hand-modeled by beating on specific iron poles with wooden mallets and special hammers for small productions, or with the lathe for the larger ones.
This processing technique gives the copper not only an aesthetically enhanced appearance, but also greater resistance to wear , for a molecular hardening effect.
Subsequently, each product is tinned by hand over the fire, manually distributing the molten tin inside the cookware, so as to make it safe and hygienic. Finally, biodegradable products are used for manual cleaning and sanding; while the final polishing involves brushing until a total brilliance is obtained.
Where necessary, the handles are fixed with rivets, to ensure a strong and lasting grip.
All these features make the utensil indispensable, especially for all those interested in haute cuisine.

Technical features and warnings:
  • Can be used for gas, radiant or electric cooking, preferably with low flames;
  • Do not use sharp objects in direct contact with the interior, we recommend wooden cutlery to avoid scratches in the tin plating;
  • Do not use steel wool pads for internal cleaning, in order to avoid the removal of the tin;
  • Washing in the dishwasher is not recommended to avoid complete oxidation of the copper;
  • Do not leave the instrument in direct contact with flames or plates without food or condiments inside;
  • Do not stack the pans on top of each other; it is advisable to hang them up.
The material:
Copper is a practically indestructible noble metal with a high ecological value and was the first metal to be worked by man.
This is why owning a copper kitchen utensil can mean owning a part of human history, which brings joy and charm in the preparation of meals and in the presentation of dishes. Indicated for long and accurate cooking due to its thermal conductivity , it allows the heat to spread evenly over the entire pot and lid for optimal energy savings as, once the desired temperature is reached, it requires little heat.

NB: With continued use, copper will take on its characteristic antique color . For those who prefer shiny copper it is recommended to use (only outside) the vinegar and salt solution and rub in steel wool, or copper cleaning products, easily available on the market. Pond will also tend to darken but this natural reaction does not affect its hygiene. If the coating of the tin plating is no longer uniform, it will be essential to proceed with a new tin plating for which you can contact the supplier or experts in the sector directly. With the correct precautions indicated above, tin plating can last up to 9/10 years.
The possibility of periodically stagnating the interior and polishing it externally makes the container eternal : this is why these tools are often handed down from generation to generation.
