Giglio is an innovative armchair, equipped with special features that make it indispensable, such as the integrated medical device* ; easily removable armrests , to allow easy movement of the person from the armchair to the bed and vice versa; backrest with solid handle to easily move the armchair from one room to another.
Equipped with a 4-motor system capable of guaranteeing independent movements of the backrest and footboard. In addition to the classic relaxation and lift positions, Giglio can also assume very functional positions for orthopedic-health purposes, especially useful in cases where you have physical needs that require you to remain seated in an armchair. In fact, the system allows both to tilt the armchair upwards in the zero gravity position and to raise the armchair by approximately 20cm, keeping the seat parallel to the floor. This parallel movement allows you to approach a table, for lunch or for any other need, while remaining comfortably seated. Any stress and discomfort caused by changing position is thus facilitated.

* Medical device : product classified as a Class 1 Medical Device , in compliance with the standards required by the European Directive (concerning medical devices) and registered in the list of the Ministry of Health. All medical device armchairs are coupled with a self- shaping seat which consists of a new product designed specifically for the healthcare sector. The upper layers of the seat cushion of these armchairs are made with a 30mm layer of Gaia®, one of the most innovative products from the Waterly range on the market, created from basic material of vegetal origin and enriched with essences. This remedy allows you to combine the comfort and functionality of the armchairs with:
- seat that self-models through the thermal action of the body;
- more breathability to wick away moisture produced by the body;
- increased comfort by minimizing pressure points.
The quality of Class 1 Medical Devices and their CE marking allows these models to benefit from the 19% tax deduction for healthcare expenses (art. 15, paragraph 1 letter C of the TUIR).

OPTIONALS AVAILABLE:
- 60 cycle battery kit: allows the armchair to be used in any corner of the house, even away from the power socket. The battery allows on average 60 complete cycles of autonomy.

AVAILABLE COATINGS:
The Giglio armchair is available in different types of covering, divided into different categories depending on the price:
1) Category A :
- Savoy stain-resistant fabric ; Savoy is a fabric of modern conception, pleasant to the touch and very resistant to wear and abrasion. The main feature of this fabric is its total impermeability to water: it is in fact guaranteed as "water repellent". 89% Polyester, 8% Polyamide, 2% Cotton, 1% Viscose.
- Ritz stain-resistant fabric ;    Ritz is a fabric pleasant to the touch, selected as a covering for these armchairs thanks to its characteristic resistance to wear. It is a stain-resistant fabric composed of 86% Polyester, 14% Polyamide. Weight/thickness 490 gr/ml.
2) Category C : Minerva eco-leather
3) Leather category : fine genuine Bull leather, 100% leather.

HOW TO SELECT THE COVERING : select the category to which the desired covering belongs from the drop-down menu. Then, view the color chart relating to your selection and indicate the desired color code in the appropriate box next to the product photo.

In addition to the options listed above, it is possible to have the covers of protection ed the coffee table . The former are designed to guarantee protection of the most subject areas from wear and dirt. There is a cover for the backrest, one for the seat and one for the armrests which conform to the components making their presence imperceptible. The table, on the other hand, attaches to the armchair, giving the possibility of consuming small meals while remaining seated, without causing inconvenience to the immobilized person.
